15 mL and 50 mL Tubes: Can securely withstand high-speed centrifugation up to 12,000 × g (RCF) in fully supported rotors.
Microcentrifuge Tubes (0.5 mL / 1.5 mL / 2.0 mL): Built with reinforced walls to withstand forces up to 20,000 × g to 25,000 × g, depending on the specific model and rotor configuration. Always ensure your tubes are properly balanced before starting a run.

Flat Caps: Provide a smooth, flat top surface that is ideal for easy marker labeling. They usually utilize an internal liner or advanced molded threads to form a liquid-tight seal suitable for standard vortexing and storage.
Plug-Seal Caps: Feature a distinct extended interior lip that physically plugs into the tube neck. This design provides an exceptionally secure, double-layered seal that is highly recommended for vigorous sample shaking, heavy-duty centrifugation, and preventing leakage during long-term storage or shipping.
